ORGANIZATION AND CHANGE MANAGEMENT

Course Description

Students will learn how to develop dynamic systems through analysis of the different levels of change management (individual/personal level, unit level, corporate level, and broad system level). The methodology/approach will be applied to analysis of needs for systemic change including levels of national economics, health economics, and hospital sector. Health reform programs will be presented and discussed. Change, dynamics, and scenarios for national, regional, and global economy dynamics will be analyzed and discussed.Students will meet experts in the field of strategic planning from various EU countries and continue to learn about prerequisites for change including new economic and institutional conditions, globalization, and technology as driving forces for change, effectiveness of scenario planning and the role of computer sciences, communication technologies, biotechnologies, and nanotechnologies.
