Stanko Tonkovic, Professor at the Zagreb University Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing. Graduated in 1964, MSc in 1971, PhD in 1975, Zagreb University Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing. Dean of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing (1994-1998). Specialization in electrophysiology and medical electronics measurements in France (Tours-Paris, 18 months). Later, invited lecturer in France. At the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, lecturer in the field of electronic measurements and biomedical engineering. President of the Croatian Society for Medical and Biological Technics, and of TO62 Committee (for electromedical instruments and equipment) of the Croatian Institute for Normization and Measurements. Member of many international and national professional associations. Author/co-author of over 180 research and professional papers. Director of many research and professional projects in the field of biomedical engineering and technology.
