Don Hindle is an applied mathematician currently employed as Visiting Professor in the Medical Faculty, University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia. Most of his research and consulting has concerned health care financing and care provider payment. In recent years, he has given increasing attention to clinical work process control – and in particular to clinical teamwork and the use of care pathways. He has consulted in over 30 countries in the last ten years, mainly in Asia and Europe. He has published over 200 technical reports and conference papers in the last 15 years, most of which have concerned health management topics. About 60 of them have been published in refereed technical journals.
